Here at M&B, we insist on the highest quality in all our products. However, if our products do not meet this high standard or if you are unsatisfied in any way, we are happy to refund or exchange items in accordance with the conditions laid out below.
Many of our products are handmade, and so there will be slight variations from the photos online. In particular, within our range of ceramics and chopping boards each product is unique and has its own character – that is why we love them!
For some products, the colours displayed on your monitor may not be completely accurate, but we always do our best to show our products as accurately as possible.
We check every item before dispatch, but should you receive an item that falls short of M&B’s high standards, we are happy either to refund you or to resend your order. We will also refund delivery charges, unless the item was sent with other items which you are not returning.
Cancelling or Changing an Order
We can change or cancel an order up until the time it is dispatched. Please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to do so.
We aim to make returning any unsuitable products as easy as possible – just follow these steps and let us know if you have any problems:
If you want to return a product, email us at email@example.com within 7 days of placing your order. Let us know your order number, and whether you would like a refund or an exchange (for another size or colour, for example). If the product is faulty, sending us a photo can help speed up the process.
After notifying us, products must be returned to our office within 28 days of delivery, and we will then send out your replacement.

In case of returning or exchanging items, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs. We cover the shipping costs for faulty products only. We try to accept all returns, but in the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we may have to send it back to you.
Please send all return items in the same shipment to ensure that it is processed as quickly as possible. It can take up to 10 days for your return to be delivered back to our shed, depending on which postal service you use, and we will let you know via email as soon as your return has been received and processed.
Any refund will be credited to the original purchaser’s card and will exclude shipping costs unless the product is faulty. Typically, this takes 10 working days but may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
